Mark Schulman

Mark Schulman is a monster drummer and motivational speaker with over 32 years of experience. A classically trained cellist, Mark started his career with the Los Angeles Junior Philharmonic before transitioning to drumming. As a first-call drummer, he has worked with rock and pop legends like P!NK, Cher, Billy Idol, Sheryl Crow, and Beyoncé. Mark was voted one of the “Top 3 Pop-Rock Drummers” by Modern Drummer readers in 2014. His performances have graced global stages, including Glastonbury and Ozzfest.

Mark Schulman’s career spans more than 2,000 keynotes and 1,000 music clinics, delivering powerful, high-energy presentations to organizations like Microsoft, American Express, and SAP. His talks inspire leaders, teams, and individuals to embrace change, overcome fear, and achieve peak performance. As a result, Mark’s impact extends far beyond music, reaching audiences from corporate executives to students across the world.

Furthermore, Mark is passionate about teaching and mentoring. He served as chairman of Create Now!, a non-profit helping troubled youth through creative arts. A cancer survivor, Mark Schulman has motivated young people through seminars with the Ronald McDonald House and benefits for the Teenage Cancer Trust in the U.K.

An educator at heart, Mark Schulman taught at the Los Angeles Music Academy and produced his own instructional DVD, A Day in the Recording Studio. Additionally, his signature snare drum has become one of GRETSCH’s best-selling products.

Mark is also an author. His first book, Conquering Life’s Stage Fright, provides strategies for transforming fear into confidence. His second book, The Attitude Equation, will be released in late 2023 and explores how attitude shapes success.
