About This Speaker

Jodi Kovitz is the Founder and CEO of #movethedial, a global movement she created to advance the participation and leadership of all women in tech. Since launching #movethedial, she has engaged tens of thousands of people worldwide and helped shape more inclusive practices across the innovation ecosystem.

In 2026, Jodi joined Tangerine Bank as Managing Director, Digital Small Business. In this role, she leads strategic initiatives that support small business growth, digital innovation, and customer-first transformation.

Jodi’s career spans law, technology, business development, and executive leadership. She previously served as CEO of the Human Resources Professionals Association (HRPA), representing over 24,000 HR professionals across Ontario. She also drove growth at Vetster and served as CEO of Peerscale (formerly AceTech Ontario). Earlier in her career, she led business development strategy for the national litigation practice at Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP. She also practiced law at Torkin Manes LLP.

Jodi co-founded #Tech4SickKids, rallying Canada’s tech sector to raise millions in support of SickKids Foundation AI and innovation initiatives. This work helped support the Foundation’s historic $1.7-billion campaign. She serves as a Director on the SickKids Foundation Board and contributes to the Morrissette Entrepreneurship Advisory Board at Western University.

Her leadership has earned national recognition. Jodi has been named one of Canada’s 25 Women of Influence and a two-time WXN Most Powerful Women honouree. The International Association of Business Communicators also recognized her as Communicator of the Year. She has also been featured in Forbes Women.

Jodi holds an HBA from Ivey, an LLB from Osgoode, and an honorary Doctor of Laws from the University of Calgary. She is the author of Go Out of Your Way. She is currently enrolled in the CEO Program at Columbia Business School Executive Education.
