About This Speaker
Abishur Prakash, known globally as “Mr. Geopolitics”, is one of the world’s leading geopolitical authorities. Born in New Zealand to Indian parents, raised in Australia, and based in Canada, Prakash brings a truly global upbringing to his work. For him, geopolitics was never just something to study, it was something to live.
Still in his 30s, Prakash has spent almost fifteen years advising executives, investors, and policymakers on geopolitics and what’s next. He has built a track record of anticipating tomorrow’s disruptions before they strike, and is credited with pioneering the field of geopolitics and tech, coining paradigms such as Next Geopolitics, Vertical Globalization, and Geopolitics of AI.
Prakash is the author of six books that have redefined how the world thinks about geopolitics, including his latest, The Great Fracturing: How Geopolitics Is Breaking the World. He is the founder of The Geopolitical Business, Inc., a strategic advisory firm in Toronto, Canada. Through his firm, he guides stakeholders through current and emerging geopolitical shocks.
